Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar local storage that Replatform Radar LLC uses on replatformradar.com, and how you can control them. We take a consent-first approach: nothing that can identify you or store anything on your device runs until you allow it.

What we use

• Strictly necessary. We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage (key rr-consent-v1) so we can honor it and not ask again. This is required for the site to function and does not need consent.
• Analytics and advertising (optional). Only if you accept, we load Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and performance, the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure how our LinkedIn campaigns perform, and Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are actually used. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (for example _ga) to measure visits; the LinkedIn Insight Tag sets cookies (for example li_fat_id) for campaign measurement; Clarity sets cookies (for example _clck and _clsk) and records a replay of your visit — the pages you view, and where you scroll, move and click. If you reject, none of these load or set any cookies.
• Tag management. We use Google Tag Manager to load the optional tools above. Unlike them, it loads on every page — but it runs under Google Consent Mode with analytics and advertising storage set to denied by default, so until you accept it sets no cookies, stores no identifiers and sends no measurement. Accepting flips that state; changing your mind in Cookie settings flips it back. We use it this way rather than loading it only after consent because it means every tool we add later is governed by your choice automatically, instead of depending on us remembering to gate it.

Measurement without cookies

We count visits using a first-party method that sets no cookies at all and stores neither your IP address nor your browser’s user agent. Visitors are counted with a rotating, one-way identifier that changes daily and cannot be reversed or linked across days, so it cannot build a profile of you or follow you between sites. We also use Ahrefs Analytics, a third-party measurement service that likewise sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. Alongside them, Vercel BotID checks whether that page-view request came from a browser or an automated client, so a crawler reading every page is not counted as a room full of readers; it runs from this domain, sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. Because these methods store no personal data, they run regardless of your cookie choice — and they are why declining analytics cookies costs you nothing here.

Managing your choice

You chose your preference in the banner shown on your first visit. You can change it any time: Cookie settings, or use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings, or use your browser’s Do-Not-Track / privacy controls.

Third parties

Cookieless analytics are provided by Ahrefs (Ahrefs Analytics, always on, no cookies) and Vercel (BotID, always on, no cookies); optional analytics are provided by Google (Google Analytics), Vercel, and Microsoft (Clarity, which also records session replays); optional advertising measurement is provided by LinkedIn (Insight Tag). Their handling of data is governed by their own policies; see our Privacy Policy for how we work with service providers.

We may update this policy; we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
